Update June 16 2010
To all my Dear Friends and supporters,
Many of you have been asking about what is going on with the containers and with the construction’s process. I must tell you that nothing is being done yet and it is a little bit frustrating. One of the reasons is that we have not found an NGO that would receive them without cutting some kind of a deal such like giving, selling equipments, or establishing some kind of partnership in using the equipments that have to be shipped to be used in Haiti in the construction.
Keep praying that a door will be opened as we continue to negotiate but in the meanwhile I am working on the process to register our own NGO with the government so that I can get franchise when things would be shipped in Haiti and this is the perfect timing to do it. The documents are being put together now and we are hoping that in a week we will be able to give them to the person responsible to work on the process.
Here what is needed for the completion of the process:
List of documents
1.- Statutes of the NGO
2.- Once written must be notorized
3.- Present the program and in the program present a specific project
4.- Letter of request that will be addressed to the Primer Minister of Haiti
One letter from 2 others NGO’s
A letter from the mayor
Cost- 7,000.00 US dollars
60% of the amount will be given as the process starts
20% of the amount when deposit the first draft at the planification ministry
20% of the amount when deposit definitely
Duration of the registration process- 3 months the most according to the man who will do it for me.
Please, pray for this specific project so that it can be completed as soon as possible. Pray that the rest of the funds will be provided for 1000 dollars has already given towards it.
